I announced last week that Lafarge Ravena would be sponsoring a contest at the 23rd annual Ravena Friendship Festival.

To be eligible, festival attendees needed to visit the Lafarge Ravena booth and take a tour of our cement plant. In all, 62 people were entered into the drawing and received a first-hand look at how we make cement.

And the winners of the new 8GB Apple iPod Nano and $50 gift certificate to Yanni’s II restaurant in Coeymans are:

Mr. Krause won the first prize 8GB Apple iPod Nano, and Ms. Arienti the second prize $50 gift certificate to Yanni’s II restaurant.

Lafarge Ravena is sponsoring prizes at the 23rd annual Ravena Friendship Festival being held this Saturday, August 28th at Mosher Park in the Village of Ravena. The festival is opens at 12 P.M.
